Well I really fucking blew the Eagles/Cardinals prediction. Who the fuck knew the Eagles Defense wouldnt show up until the 3rd quarter and then go to sleep in the 4th again. Plus my heart was in the prediction as well. I wanted Brian Dawkins to get a fucking ring. McNabb was a bit erratic but he played well over all. The game really exposed the Eagles weak spots. First of all their running game. They need to rebuild their offensive line that was getting beat by a cardinals defense that was mediocre at best. Brian Westbrook was hurting and is a huge contributor to the offensive punch of the Eagles but he is not a ball control, between the tackles horse that the Philidelphia Eagles need and have needed for several years. If Philly could have played ball control and ground out some first downs on the ground they could have eaten up the clock and won. If, woulda, coulda - its all bullshit. They just didnt get the Job done and it looked like the Phoenix Cardinals wanted the game more than the Eagles. I hate to fucking admit that as I am a Philidelphia Eagles fan and have learned what it is to be an Eagles fan over the last couple of years.
Well on to the Super Bowl predicton. Much of the focus on this game is the Pittsburgh Steelers #1 defense against the high scoring offense of the Cardinals. The steelers put alot of pressure on the QB and cover well. I don’t believe the Cards Fitzgerald can be contained. He is one of the best receivers I have seen since Jerry Rice. His leaping ability and concentration on the ball is all world. The Steelers have a great defensive back field and will play well but the key to this game in my view is getting to Warner. If the d-backs can make Warner hold the ball just a second longer than normal, their pass rush will get to him. If they can do that early and often this game will be a blow out as I don’t believe the Cardinals defense will be able to contain Big Ben and the Steelers offense. If the pass rush does not get to Kurt Warner it will be a high scoring game which the Cardinals will have a very good chance to come out on top. Warner gets the pass off faster than any QB in the NFL. When he is hot, he is the best there is and has arguably the best tandem of wide receivers in the game. Enough of the bloviating. I think the Steelers are overall the better team and will come out on top. I predict the Steelers over the Cardinals 37-21
I am so damned sick of Politicians trying to take away our rights and freedoms. This dirt bag of a Politician named Robyn Driscoll in Montana has introduced a bill that would ban a breed of dog. Whats more the bill would give law enforcement the right to come on to private property and seize the animal/family member and by law they must kill the dog/family member within 10 days. Who in the hell does this bitch think she is? What the hell has this country come to when the goddamned government can take our money and give it to greedy bastards on wall street and bail them out when millions of Americans are losing their jobs, homes and dreams. None of the billions has been used for mortgage relief, just has kept some of the big institutions from going under. Now they are going to come into our homes and take our family member/dogs if they don’t approve of the breed and kill them. Does the phrase “out of control” come to mind? I am not talking about dogs raised for fighting or dogs that are dangerous, I am talking about family pets that the “State” is going to refuse to “allow” us to own that were raised from puppies into members of the family. I own a dog that would probably fit into the category this crotch stain of a politician would outlaw. My dog Zen is a Tosa - a Japanese fighting dog. Also known as a Japanese Mastiff. Zen is small for his breed with his top weight being 145 lbs. http://www.akc.org/breeds/tosa/photos.cfm. I raised this dog from a puppy that was deathly ill when I got him. A friends dogs had a litter that got the disease Parvo which almos wiped out the litter of 13 pups. Zen and his brother fuji were the only survivors and even after being in the Vet hospital he was not doing well. My friend knew I worked at home and was a dog person and asked if I would take care of him for a couple of weeks to fatten him up. That was 12 years ago. If some bureaucrat showed up at my front door to take him away it would not end well for anyone. I believe in responsible ownership of animals and if somebody raises a dog that is dangerous that owner should be responsible for anything the animal does. As an American Citizen and a Veteran I do not believe the government has the right to come into my home and take a beloved family pet that has not harmed anyone.

Let me stick my neck out nice and far. The Philidelphia Eagles will win the Super Bowl. There I said it. Go ahead Giants fans and remind me we haven’t won a championship since Bednarik knocked Frank Gifford into Limbo and damned near killed him. Well BFD. The Eagles weren’t even playing at the top of their game last weekend when they kicked the shit out of the Giants and sent New York home wondering if Eli Manning is really their QB of the future.
What a difference a game makes. The Eagles destroyed the Cowgirls and their traveling soap opera in the last game of the season where they didn’t even know if they would make the playoffs. Pacman got his fudge packed, T.O. was sent sniveling into the off-season and a suicide watch has been placed on Romo. Jerry Jones popped one of the pulsing veins on his forehead and Wade Phillips has vowed to become a tough guy? The Eagles are peaking at the right time and have been destroying teams along the way. The Cardinals supposely “want” the Eagles for the ass whipping they got at the hands of Philidelphia. Be careful what you wish for, it may tear you a new asshole.
